The village of Embsay lies on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It is the home of the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway.

 

The house enjoys fine views of Embsay Crag and the surrounding countryside. Many pleasant walks are on the doorstep.
